Services & expertise
The client

HubSpot.

HubSpot provides a customer platform that connects marketing, sales, and customer service. Lil Horse created branded product imagery for its website feature pages.

The opportunity

Where we started.

The opportunity was to make product features easier to understand through clear visual stories. Each composition needed to reflect HubSpot’s existing identity while guiding attention to the interface, content, or interaction being explained.

Our approach

From wireframes to finished brand imagery.

We started with wireframes to organize each composition and explored different design prototypes before refining the final artwork. Product interfaces, simplified UI elements, typography, imagery, and graphic details were brought together through a hands-on design process.

All artwork was manually designed by our team, without automation tools or generative AI. Feedback rounds helped refine the hierarchy, visual consistency, and clarity of each piece.

01 / Wireframes, prototypes & final artwork

From structure to a visual story.

Wireframes and design prototypes shaped the hierarchy of each piece. These final compositions show how template selection, editing, and publishing become clear visual narratives.

02 / Product feature illustrations

Features made easier to understand.

Purpose-built graphics explain security and conversation features through simplified shapes and interface elements. Each is a manually designed visual asset for product communication.

The outcome

Complex features.
Clear visual stories.

The project delivered a cohesive set of product illustrations and interface-led visuals for HubSpot’s feature pages. The final pieces make website-building and product concepts easier to follow while staying aligned with the existing brand.

Clear product storytelling

Visual hierarchy, interface cues, and focused compositions guide attention to the feature being explained.

A consistent visual family

Shared styling connects template selection, content editing, publishing, security, and conversation graphics.

Client perspective
